From 4th to 5th March, Nutraceuticals Europe – Summit will be offering trade visitors a comprehensive programme of scientific conferences in which innovation and the future are the cornerstones.

The Hospital del Mar’s Medical Research Institute (IMIM) and EPPA will be joining forces this year with Nutraceuticals Europe – Summit & Expo, which will be held on 4th and 5th March 2020 at the IFEMA Trade Fair Complex in Madrid. The two organisations, which are highly regarded in Europe, will be giving talks at the scientific congress, which is a meeting point for industry professionals.

The IMIM will be participating in two talks, one on 4th and one on 5th March. The first presentation will be given by Dr. Ana Aldea, the clinical research coordinator at the Hospital del Mar’s Medical Research Institute, who will be discussing how to substantiate health claims made by nutraceuticals. The second will be given by Rafael de la Torre, Director of the Neuroscience Research Programme at the same Institute, who will be reflecting on the role of nutraceuticals in improving cognitive functioning based on practical aspects in their clinical development.

EPPA will be participating in two panels, one on each day of the event. The first centres on possible scenarios of future legislation at EU level, including specific cases of similar precedents, whilst the second will be focusing on the new European political context. Both will be given by Eduardo Mulas and Alex Bocquillion, partner and account manager, respectively, at EPPA. 

These initiatives bolster Nutraceuticals Europe-Summit & Expo’s commitment to science, research and innovation in this essential event for all industry professionals.
