Nutraceuticals Europe – Summit & Expo brings successful seventh edition to a close with 13%more exhibitors and 21.25% more attendees

Nutraceuticals Europe Summit & Expo is now closed. This edition racked up growth in both exhibitor and visitor numbers, with the latter being 21.25% up on the previous edition of the fair. Visiting professionals left the BICC, the Barcelona International Convention Centre satisfied with the time spent at the fair, having seen the latest innovations and solutions for wellness and healthy living; in fact, everything that comes within the scope of the functional ingredients, ‘novel foods’ and finished products industry.

Unique in Spain and organised by Feria Valencia, the event brought together a total of 113 companies in the exhibition space, 40% of which were foreign, from Argentina, Belgium, China, Colombia, Denmark, France, Germany, Holland, India, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Over the two days that Nutraceuticals Europe Summit & Expo ran for, a large number of visiting professionals had the opportunity to explore the most recent innovations in pre-biotic technology and supplements made from natural ingredients, amongst other stand-out new developments. They were also able to see an extensive range of products and services linked to nutraceuticals as well as attend the intensive programme of talks and round tables that addressed the latest trends and products in the field of nutrition and health.

In fact, the Seminar Theatre was one of the areas that attracted the most attention from visitors, with leading manufacturers such as   Vivatis, Alifarma, Korott, Novozymes, Gelita, Synapharm, Solchem Nature, Lehvoss, Alesco, Abyss Ingredientes, Gnosis by Lesaffre, Azelis, Kyojin and Tradichem Group, amongst others, presenting their most outstanding innovations.

The fair’s director, Esther Cano, has spoken of her satisfaction with how this seventh edition performed: “both exhibitors and visitors were highly satisfied with the edition of the fair that has just closed. It was patently obvious that there was huge interest in Nutraceuticals Europe: 21.5% more professionals visited and the number of exhibitors was more than 13% up, with a notable increase in the number of international companies taking part. As the organisers, we will continue to work to foster networking for the sector and offer an ideal space for showcasing the latest innovations”.

Nutraceuticals has closed its doors following two intensive days of business activity and networking and with its sights set firmly on Nutraceuticals Europe – Summit & Expo 2025.
