Spain’s foremost event for functional ingredients, ‘novel foods’ and finished products is coming up to its seventh edition and to mark the anniversary will be returning to the home in Barcelona that has delivered such good results for the last three years.
València, 26th june 2022.- Dates have been announced for the next edition of Nutraceuticals Europe Summit & Expo. What will already be the seventh edition of Spain’s leading trade fair dedicated to functional ingredients, ‘novel foods’ and finished products will be taking place on 6th and 7th March 2024, once again at the Barcelona International Convention Centre – CCIB.
This will be the third time in a row that the fair is held in Barcelona, returning to the same venue and repeating a formula that has delivered excellent results for the last three editions. The first time it took place at the CCIB, in 2022, the event welcomed more than 2200 trade visitors, an increase of 12% over the previous edition of the fair.
Last year, Nutraceuticals again recorded more than significant growth, with the number of professionals visiting registering an increase of more than 20%, positioning the fair decisiveky as southern Europe’s key event for this highly specialised segment of industry.
Great expectations
With these results in mind, Nutraceuticals Europe Summit & Expo’s technical team, headed by the fair’s director Esther Cano, has already begun to prepare for the 2024 edition, their focus firmly on consolidating the fair on its path to success and creating a quality showcase highly attractive to the different sectors of the industry. The aim is to continue to strengthen Nutraceuticals Europe Summit & Expo’s position as the best platform for showing the market the latest developments and research, much of which is astonishing and gives an indication of some of the trends set to emerge in the industry in the immediate future.
Innovation and learning
The event, which is being organised by Feria Valencia, will again be structured around two major areas. One the one hand, there will be a substantial exhibit and sales area where the 100-plus companies taking part will be showing their latest developments and market research to the Spanish and international professionals who come to the fair every year.
On the other, the Seminar Theatre will again be a standout feature of Nutraceuticals, a point of reference where prestigious speakers will not just talk about the new products on the market but will also tackle issues relating to innovation in nutraceutical ingredients, the new areas that research and development of nutritional products are focusing on, and the trends in the health and wellbeing market.
